Kristine and Kevin were blessed with a perfect fall day in Rochester, New York for their wedding. They were surrounded by close friends and family for their celebration on the 9th floor of the Strathallan. They chose the venue because they have already shared many great memories there and wanted to be able to enjoy the fall foliage in Rochester from above. Undoubtedly, the best feature of the Strathallan is the panoramic view overlooking the city. The inspiration for the wedding decor was drawn from the natural beauty of fall in upstate New York. Earthy tones, warm hues, and subtle nods to the changing seasons adorned the spaces, creating an atmosphere that was both cozy and romantic.
Among the cherished vendors, Sweet Samie Janes stood out for their delightful French macarons. A touch of sweetness that delighted the senses, their macarons added an exquisite note to the wedding festivities. The couple curated a culinary experience that reflected their tastes and satisfied a range of preferences. From interactive elements like garbage plates to a live cotton candy machine, every aspect of the menu was a thoughtful selection of their favorite flavors and a nod to Rochester’s culinary heritage.
Unique touches added a personal flair to the celebration. Instead of a traditional flower girl, the couple opted for a whimsical “Bubble Girl,” spreading joy and enchantment down the aisle. Their beloved dog (Pickles) played a special role in the ceremony, bringing a smile to everyone. To kick off the reception, a personally crafted video by the couple introduced the wedding party, setting the stage for an evening filled with laughter and love. It was an incredible night and one that I will never forget!
