Oak Hill Country Club is one of the most prestigious golf clubs in America, hosting some of the most important tournaments in the sport with the best golfers in the world. The grounds are impeccably kept. The Tudor-style clubhouse feels like an old English mansion. Every wedding at Oak Hill feels all the more important and historic because of the property. Around the back of the clubhouse is an enormous tent that overlooks the golf course. Stone bridges and perfectly manicured greenery look amazing for pictures. We love how the light glimmers through the large trees during sunset, giving a magical feel to your portraits.
Brief History
Oak Hill Country Club was founded on the bank of the Genesee River in 1901. With considerable growth in the appeal for the sport, and in a deal to let the University of Rochester build its river campus on the site, Oak Hill Country Club moved to the gorgeous suburban land southeast of Rochester in 1921.
The University of Rochester, in exchange for the original land, provided 355 acres near Pittsford for the club. The two courses on this property were originally designed by Scottish golf-course designer Donald Ross, dividing the land into East and West courses, and later redesigned by various renowned designers.
Throughout the decades that followed, Oak Hill Country has hosted various unforgettable weddings, events, and even major tournaments on its gorgeous courses—particularly the East course.

- The Clubhouse: The Clubhouse is a 7,200-square-foot structure on the property, with a total of ten rooms dedicated to private events. It also features a dining area called The Grill Room, which is a casual dining restaurant with a capacity for 200 guests, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating areas.
Pricing
Oak Hill Country Club is only available to the members as a wedding venue. With a stringent requirement for membership, the venue is highly exclusive. To become a member, you need sponsorship from three senior members of the club or at least two senior members and one junior member.
