Located on a hill and surrounded by vineyards, Casa Larga boasts amazing views and sunsets all year round. The golden hour at Casa Larga is amazing! The ballroom is huge and can hold up to 250 guests and has floor to ceiling windows on three sides allowing the light to pour in. There is also a deck that overlooks the vineyards that can accommodate your ceremony and cocktail hour. We enjoy taking the couple down the to wine cellar for some intimate pictures with the wine barrels.
Brief History
Casa Larga was first started in 1974, when its founders, Mr. and Mrs. Colaruotolo planted the first two acres of vines atop a beautiful hill where the vineyards stand today. He named this vineyard “Casa Larga”, in memory of his grandparents’ vineyards in Italy.
Despite being one of the most iconic wineries in New York State today, Casa Larga was not started as a business. At first, Mr. Colaruotolo intended the vineyards as a hobby to connect with his Italian roots. Yet, the vineyard’s first vintage, produced in 1978, won three awards at the New York State Wine Competition.
The awards were only a start. Recognition after recognition poured in, and, soon enough, Casa Larga turned from a hobby into a full-fledged business. It was the 21st licensed winery in New York.

Aesthetics
Bella Vista Events Center is where all the wedding ceremonies are conducted in Casa Larga. There are 3 beautiful and elegant sites to choose from: you can have your ceremony in the winery, on the deck overlooking the vineyards, that provides dreamy pictures at sunset, or in the elegant Vintage Room providing access to the deck.
The Vintage Room has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a breathtaking view of the vineyards as well as the hills. There are projection screens and atmosphere enhancing lighting that provides a dreamy atmosphere.

- Exclusive food service provider: Chapel’s Catering provides the meal service at Casa Larga. Their catering is famous for a wide selection of cuisines as well as signature dishes. It includes custom linen, china, glasses, and silverware to enhance the presentation.
- Audio and visual equipment: Event spaces in Casa Larga come fitted with all the modern technology required to make the events possible. For corporate events, it has an in-house surround sound system, a podium with a microphone, and a hideaway screen.
- Access to several areas around: Apart from the deck and vineyard, guests have access to many of the nearby rolling hills and grapevines around the winery. These are ideal for amazing photoshoots and maybe an escapade from the huzz and buzz if you feel like it.
- Beverage service: Being a well-renowned vineyard and winery, it’s no surprise that events at Casa Larga come with an optional beverage service. Guests can choose from an extensive selection of drinks during the event (except during dinner service).
Accommodations for Ceremonies and Receptions
The wedding venue at Casa Larga, Bella Vista, can accommodate up to 250 guests and has three unique spaces for guests to organize their desired event, along with the option to combine all three for an even grander event.
Guests can choose from The Winery, the Vintage Room, and The Deck (which overlooks the vineyards), depending on whether they want the event to be indoors or outdoors. The Vintage Room features a 550sq feet granite dance floor, 3 automatic projection screens, optional atmosphere enhancing lighting, and a piazza gathering area as well as access to the deck.
Apart from the captivating beauty of the vineyards, Casa Larga’s event coordination team has quite an appeal among couples who have gotten married here in the past. Hosts have access to rentals, equipment, as well as catering services from Chapel’s Catering along with the bar. You can also request a referral list of Casa Larga’s preferred vendors. All the event spaces are handicap accessible and come with a dressing room.
Pricing
The wedding prices at Casa Larga depend on your chosen event space. Although the overall cost for a reception varies depending upon the time of year, the additional services you choose, and your wedding package, the estimated costs total around $14,000-18,000 for 100 guests. An additional fee of $1,000-1,200 is charged if you choose to have your ceremony included in the package as well.
Note: Unless your wedding package includes a bar, the bartender fee is $35 per hour and you can avail one for 3 hours max.
