Gabby and Mack’s wedding at the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel was a romantic and deeply personal celebration that beautifully reflected their love story. After two years of planning, the day was filled with excitement, love, and intentional details that brought their vision to life. Choosing the Harbor Hotel was especially meaningful to Gabby, who spent her childhood summers in Clayton at her family’s camp nearby. As a child, she always envisioned getting married at the Harbor Hotel right next to the river. Their wedding date made the day even more special it fell exactly five years to the day that they first met, making their “I do’s” even more symbolic. From their first look and private vows at Gabby’s family camp, to including their two cats, Winky and Daisy, in their photos, every part of the day was filled with personal touches and heart.
Their décor carried a romantic, simple, and elegant feel, with roses to honor Mack’s tradition of gifting them to Gabby and daisies for their cat Daisy. Reception tables were named after Thousand Islands landmarks, and instead of a traditional guest book, guests signed cornhole boards that the couple plans to use for years to come. Handwritten thank you notes were placed at each setting, a thoughtful and personal gesture for every guest. The reception was a lively and joyful celebration with Encore Events setting the tone. Mickey kept the dance floor packed all night long. Guests enjoyed an incredible buffet featuring seafood, chicken saltimbocca, and a carving station, ending the night with laughter, love, and dancing. As a Rochester wedding photographer, capturing Gabby and Mack’s day was an honor. Their celebration was not just about their union, but about the people, places, and memories that shaped their journey together. We wish them all the best!
