Corinne and Matthew’s fall wedding was a deeply meaningful celebration filled with family tradition, heartfelt remembrance, and intentional moments woven throughout the day. Their wedding mass at St. Patrick’s Church was especially emotional, made even more significant by Father James Lawlor officiating, having also married Matt’s parents decades earlier. Throughout the day, there was a beautiful sense of connection to family history, especially to Matt’s father, whose presence was felt in so many thoughtful details. After the ceremony, they chose to capture portraits and video at Matt’s parents’ home in Victor, a location filled with meaning and memories for the family. Surrounded by the vibrant colors of fall and the peaceful landscape, it created the perfect setting for Corinne and Matt to celebrate with their families and for them to have some time together before joining the rest of their guests for cocktail hour.
Their reception at Monroe Golf Club blended elegance with personal touches that reflected both their story and their families’ traditions. Inspired by the Finger Lakes, grape-themed centerpieces decorated the tables, while a classic Pittsburgh cookie table, complete with homemade cookies, nut rolls, and ladylocks baked by loved ones, became one of the most memorable parts of the celebration. One of the emotional highlights of the evening was their beautifully choreographed first dance to Elton John’s “Your Song,” the same song Matt’s parents danced to at their own wedding. After secretly taking lessons with Nova Ballroom Dance, Corinne and Matthew created a moment that honored both their love and Matt’s father in a way that felt incredibly moving to witness. Guests from across the country and even Germany gathered to celebrate alongside them, filling the night with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connection. From heartfelt toasts to voice messages left on their vintage audio guest book phone, every part of the day told a story that was uniquely and beautifully theirs.
