Laura and Jonathan’s wedding day at the Rochester Wintergarden was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern simplicity, brought to life through soft natural light and lush greenery. From a videographer’s perspective, it was a dream setting, the glass enclosed space allowed every moment to feel bright, clean, and effortlessly beautiful. One of the most anticipated moments of the day was Laura walking down the aisle, and Jonathan seeing her for the first time, and it was every bit as emotional as they had imagined. Their vision of a classic, minimal, and elegant celebration came through in every detail, letting the space speak for itself while subtle, thoughtful touches added depth and personality. From custom letterpress invitations to Jonathan’s cufflinks and even a pocket square made from Laura’s dress fabric, every element felt intentional and uniquely theirs.
As the day unfolded, the focus stayed exactly where they wanted it, on being present with each other and soaking in every moment with their loved ones, many of whom had traveled from across the country and around the world to be there. The reception was filled with heartfelt toasts, laughter, and quiet in-between moments that told the full story of their day. Guests enjoyed thoughtful details like bacon-wrapped scallops and pistachio macarons, along with a cake from Get Caked Bakery that was carefully crafted to accommodate Laura’s allergies without sacrificing flavor. Rather than rushing from moment to moment, Laura and Jonathan stayed side by side all evening, creating a wedding film filled with genuine connection, emotion, and a sense of calm joy that made their celebration feel truly unforgettable. We wish Laura and Jonathan all the best in their new chapter together.
