Jennifer and Sam’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration that combined their families traditions, and all of their favorite things. Their ceremony blended both Irish and Colombian traditions with a symbolic knot-tying ritual and a unity candle, creating a moment that honored their heritages and their commitment to one another. Sam’s aunt officiated the ceremony, making it even more personal and meaningful. Jennifer and Sam chose Abraham Lincoln Lodge because it is surrounded by nature and is located right on the water. Their botanical and bohemian décor fit perfectly, creating a warm, earthy atmosphere that reflected their vision. Every detail, from the carefully chosen rope for the knot-tying to the candles for the unity ritual, spoke to the intention they poured into the day.
The celebration continued with emotional speeches, including when Jenn’s brothers shared a heartfelt toast. Jennifer and Sam lit up the dance floor, showcasing moves they had perfected during their dance lessons, and their guests loved every second. From signature cocktails at the open bar to an incredible dinner by Madeline’s Catering and desserts from Cheesy Eddies, the night was filled with great food, love, and laughter. What made their wedding truly unique was the fact that it was almost entirely done by themselves. Everything was planned, crafted, and executed by the couple and their families. It was a day built with love, celebrated with joy, and captured with gratitude. We wish them all the best!!!
