The Luzunaris wedding was one for the books. It had the spectacular views, exceptional details, rich colors, hilarious reception, and most gorgeous couple.
The day started out in one of the Woodcliff suites, equipped with walls of windows, a spiral staircase, and a balcony overlooking where they would later say their vows. The ladies took their time prepping for the day. Sara’s hair, makeup, dress, and jewelry were out of this world: classy and glamorous. The bridesmaids coordinated perfectly in a beautiful blue with deep red accents.
The ceremony took place in the early evening on a bright, September day. Sara and Matt wrote their own vows and were married by her godmother atop the highest spot in Monroe County.
The reception was a blast. Sarah and Matt entered in true presidential fashion wearing masks of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. There was a candy bar, a decked out walker for their littlest flower girl, blue lights everywhere, and a dance floor fit for everyone. The DJ had the whole crowd excited and engaged with unique games.
Fortunately, we were able to sneak Matt and Sara out at sunset for some special evening pictures. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot or better light. It was a nice few minutes “alone” for them and a dream for us as photographers.
I’ve know Sara since high school and it was such a joy to see her marry her soul mate. They first met and bonded over a common passion for cancer research. Now they will be an unstoppable team loving each other and saving lives. We wish them the best!
